Medication
dispensing service
This
web attached automated dispensing device alarms at the correct
time the medications should be taken, Dispenses the correct
medication from a reservoir, and twice daily automatically
updates a record at our Partner data warehouse. In the event
of non-compliance, the device alerts the control centre within
three hours.
Our
staff deliver, install and act on non-compliance, which may
be as simple as making a telephone call to the patient, particularly
in cases where the client/patient might live alone.
The
devices can be installed in a patient's own home, nursing home,
self-medicating hospital ward patients and can also be used
for compliance training in schools and other institutions.
The
EEC estimates that it loses approximately 52M Euros per year,
due to poor patient compliance with prescribed medication.
